Open the Mac App Store and sign out of it. Cancel the installation/download. Next, quit the Mac App Store and then restart your Mac. Once you’re back on your desktop, open the Mac App Store, sign in again, and then download and install the app. Disable anti-virus. Update macOS and all your apps. A lot of users experienced similar problems to this when Apple. This is my first time ever dealing with a Mac OS X reinstallation. About a week ago, while working online, my MacBook Pro just started to be very very slow to do anything. I would get the WHEEL spinning for over a minute for each click on anything. A better option is removal of extraneous, non-native fonts from their system using Apple's Font Book (located in the 'Applications' folder on a standard Mac OS X installation).

There are quite a few possibilities:
Amana serial number. Your hard disk is getting read errors, causing lots of 'retries' as it loads the operating system.
You could be running out of free hard disk space.
Your hard drive could be starting to fail.
You might need to reinstall OS X.
You might have insufficient RAM to run the version of OS X installed.
How to access app data on mac. You might be turning off your computer at night and OS X maintenance procedures that normally would run overnight are getting run when you start up in the daytime.
You might have upgraded to a version of OS X that won't run well on your computer. Several people have complained about slower performance (particularly browsing with Safari) after upgrading to OS X 10.6.8. I restored my system to OS X 10.6.7 after experiencing slowness and frequent 'beachballs' on my mid 2007 MacBook.
First, use Disk Utility and select the very first hard disk descriptor in the left column to check that the S.M.A.R.T. status is verified at the bottom of the screen.
Select the hard drive and check the bottom of the Disk Utility screen.

If S.M.A.R.T. https://zhyxvi.weebly.com/blog/import-apps-on-mac. status is not Verified, your disk is probably failing. https://browserhigh-power.weebly.com/dvd-flick-download-for-mac.html.

Repairing permissions won't fix a failing disk drive, but it might help cure start-up slowness. Mac notes app markdown.

If you allow the computer to run 24x7, OS X runs various maintenance and clean-up tasks in the 'middle of the night'. When they have to run at startup and during the day, performance suffers.
